The Dazed And Confused Interview It's 2am and the boys tell all
Marshall Staxx, Who's got more paternity suits against them, you or Shred Solo?
MARSHALL STAXX:
I don't know, we've each got about 30. It's hard to say 'cause a few of them overlap. Some of the girls can't decide if it was me or if it was Shred. Funny enough, I think our drummer even has a few. No idea how that would happen though.
Do you guys set your amps on 11, Spinal Tap style?
MARSHALL STAXX:
Of course. All amps and attitude set on 11. Eleven is a lifestyle. We eat breakfast at 11. Actually, we eat breakfast at noon...
What do you think the next big thing in rock 'n' roll is going to be?
GIN DANDY:
The next big thing is the last big thing. And the last big thing is the next big thing. That's why we play classic rock. It's the ONLY thing. You gotta be able to hum to it and screw to it.
What kind of preparation is involved before a show?
SHRED SOLO:
There's a lot to be said for just showing up. Knowing where the gig is. Getting the city right. As long as I know what the first song is, I'm good. We can figure out the key later.
